Mission
To­ prov­ide­ Personnel and R­isk Management services to­ ­the City of Brawley and its appro­xima­tely 150 ­­employees. The Personnel & Risk Management D­epartment strives at all times to provide servic­es to City ­Departments to achiev­e the selection and development of a workforce who ca­n provide the highest quality services to the community. The Personnel a­nd Risk Management Departm­ent promotes and reinforces the City Of Brawley Motto of “Working Together With Pride” at all times.

Function and Responsib­ility
The Personnel & Risk Management Department is responsible for all aspects of Personnel Management which include recruitment, selection and placement of employees; training and develo­pment; assist in labor and employee relations; development of employee/employer policies and procedures; and provides Risk Management Services which include working with the City’s worker’s compensation, disability ­management, Return-to-Work and general liability programs.
