Personnel & Risk Management
Mission
To provide Personnel and Risk Management services to the City of Brawley and its approximately 150 employees. The Personnel & Risk Management Department strives at all times to provide services to City Departments to achieve the selection and development of a workforce who can provide the highest quality services to the community. The Personnel and Risk Management Department promotes and reinforces the City Of Brawley Motto of “Working Together With Pride” at all times.
Function and Responsibility
The Personnel & Risk Management Department is responsible for all aspects of Personnel Management which include recruitment, selection and placement of employees; training and development; assist in labor and employee relations; development of employee/employer policies and procedures; and provides Risk Management Services which include working with the City’s worker’s compensation, disability management, Return-to-Work and general liability programs.
